Pacific Air Cargo Transfer Systems (PACTS) manufactures material handling and ground safety equipment and is an energy intense operation. Like so many other manufacturing companies, PACTS was looking for an energy solution that would be cost saving, sustainability creating, and above all painless to integrate into its operations. After much research into efficiency and renewable solutions, and balking at the price that goes along with such projects, Pete Agtuca, the owner of PACTS, decided to create his own solution.
By assessing the machinery in his plant, Pete realized the potential energy coming from his Donaldson Torit filter unit. With its constant wind speed from the muffler measuring 73 miles per hour, and its 16 hours of use per day, Pete was determined to harness that energy and put it back into his plant. Pete spent 3 years developing a retrofit device to replace the muffler on that unit, his patented low RPM turbo design made for a viable solution and in 2007 the Exhaust Regenerator TM was a reality.
In 2007 Pete Agtuca founded 3 Phase Energy Systems to provide cost saving sustainability solutions to manufactures like him. The Exhaust Regenerator TM is the first product to market, bringing affordable sustainability to manufactures.
